Broken but not out of service

Meet these bitches, Queen and Sophy. Smartest dogs I've ever owned, they're like people. When they pee they wipe their feet before they come into the house.
Have you ever been told that you might not be able to do what you love to do for the rest of your life? Today I had an appointment with my doctor. X rays were taken of my ankle. The look on his face after he saw the x rays were not what I was expecting. Basically a couple of the screws keeping my ankle together need to be removed, due to my ankle not healing properly. If they are not removed there is a chance they might break and my ankle will never heal. But either way, there is a high chance that I'm not going to regain full movement in my ankle again. Its hard to stay positive when you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. Til then I'll be dreading next Thursday's surgery. When those hurdles keep on comin, you just keep on runnin. Hope this year turns out better than it started.
I also came to realization that I will not give up who I am, what I believe in and what is important to me. I was going to give that all up for all the wrong reasons. yeee yeeeee
People may not exactly remember what you did or what you said, but they'll always remember how you made them feel.
