Happy hour

Last night as I was updating my blog, my power went out, at around 12:46am. Not only was my power out but the entire neighborhood as well. The street lights were out, everything was black as hell. I noticed that I started to become extremely bored because there was nothing for me to do, and I wasn't even a tad bit tired. I brainstormed things I could do that didn't involve electricity. As a last resort I lit a candle, pulled out a book and started to read (something I rarely do). America's children are suffering from obesity due to all the fast food restaurants, but how does this relate with what I discovered last night? America's children are also suffering from dumbosity, due to technology.
